Frank Wallace Hill was my paternal Grandfather. He was born in Chateaugay, attended Burlington (VT) business college,
then moved to San Francisco where he managed the Union Company Stockyards (the largest in the city) for a number of
years before returning to manage the Hill farms.
He served in various political positions including town supervisor for more than 30 years, and chairman of the county board of
supervisors.
This page is under construction. His
name is mentioned in more than 1500
local newspaper articles during his
lifetime, and I will post material as I sort
through it.
